Print a Procedure on paper or as a PDF, or export it for use in another tool, including AI agents.
- Navigate to the Procedure you want to print or export.
- Press the Actions tab in the detail pane.
- Press the Print/Export… button in the Copies panel. You can also right-click the Procedure in the list pane and select Print/Export.
- Choose a Format in the Print/Export Procedure dialog:
- HTML: a readable view of the Procedure, shown in the dialog. Print it, or export it as a ZIP archive that includes the Procedure's Attached Resources.
- Strands SOP: a Standard Operating Procedure in the Markdown format used by AWS Strands agents.
- Claude SKILL: a
SKILL.mdfile for Claude. Put it in a.claude/skills/folder to use it with Claude Code. - MCP Prompt: a Model Context Protocol prompt that any MCP client can load.
- JSON: structured data for programs to read.
- YAML: the same structure as JSON, in a form that is easier to read.
- Press Print to open your system's print dialog, where you can print or save as a PDF, or press Export to download the file to your Downloads folder.
What is included
Exports include the Procedure's Steps, their Detail and Resources, and the Procedure's structured information:
- the Objective, Estimated Duration, Categorization, and Default Assignee Position
- Fields, both Inputs and Outputs
- Supplies, Deliverables, and Tools
- Exit Criteria, shown as Completion Criteria
- each Step's assignee Position and, for Approval Steps, who must approve it
The agent formats (Strands SOP, Claude SKILL, and MCP Prompt) also include the Procedure's Roles and Related Procedures. When the Procedure has Attached Resources, these formats download as a ZIP archive with the files in a references folder.
