Overview: Create and Assign Procedures
Updated 6 days ago

Organize work in Organizations and Portfolios

An Organization is your team's workspace. Inside it, Portfolios group related Procedures and control which members can see and change them.

Document work instructions as Procedures

The heart of TaskTrain is the Procedure: a step-by-step outline of work instructions. Write one Step at a time, convert an existing document, or have SOP Savant draft it with AI. Each Step can also name who does it, the values it captures, and the Materials and Tools it uses.

Add Resources

Add Resources so members have the information they need to do each Task right the first time. Embed formatted text, attach documents, link web pages, or add Google Drive files, and reuse them across the Portfolio's Procedures. See Resources Overview.

Turn Procedures into Assignments

Each time the work comes up, assign the Procedure. Each Step becomes a Task on the Assignment, with its own Assignee and Completion Status. Triggers can start Assignments for you.
